Fatigue

Chronic fatigue is a self reported condition that persists for at least 6 months. The initial step for someone suffering from chronic fatigue is to visit a primary care physician and have tests performed to rule out anemia, thyroid disease, liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, pregnancy and HIV. In addition the medical history is reviewed and the overall health of the body as well as other symptoms are reviewed to see if they correlate or form a possible link. The next step is to evaluate sleep habits as well as lifestyle choices including diet and exercise habits. Many things regarding health can not be controlled however lifestyle choices and attitude can.
