Lumbar Disc Bulge

A bulging disc occurs when the outer fibers of the spinal disc weaken, stretch and force the jelly like sack in the center of the disc to "bulge" outward. This is considered to be the beginning of a herniated disc disorder.

At Frisco Spinal Rehab our Chiropractors are experts at spinal decompression therapy which can relieve the pressure which is causing the disc to bulge.

By gently separating the bones of the spine the spinal fluid can better circulate which allows for the fibers to be nourished and restoring functionality. Reversing the pressure and elongating the spine allows the jelly like fluid to return to the center of the spine and reduce the bulge.

If you are suffering from a bulging disc and are looking for an alternative to surgical repair and medication, contact Frisco Spinal Rehab today for a complete exam and diagnosis.
