Pinched nerves can occur almost anywhere in the body. There are multiple factors that can irritate a nerve such as:

  • Stenosis or abnormal narrowing of the spinal canal
  • Scar tissue or myofascial adhesions
  • Inflammation in joints and soft tissues

  • A more acidic pH in the tissues
  • Bruising from an acute injury
